Prohibited Activities
Prohibited Businesses and Persons:
Entities and individuals who are not permitted to open an account or use the services provided by TbtPay include:
- Sanctioned Entities: Entities and individuals listed on international sanctions lists, such as the U.S. Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) list or Turkey’s sanctions lists.
- Criminal Activities: Entities and individuals identified due to involvement in activities related to money laundering, terrorist financing, or other financial crimes.
Prohibited Activities:
Companies primarily engaged in the following activities are prohibited from using TbtPay services:
- Illegal Drugs: The sale of illegal drugs, including marijuana, even if it is legal in certain countries.
- Weapons: The production, sale, or distribution of firearms and ammunition, unless legally licensed.
- Gambling and Betting: Gambling, betting, and games of chance that are not legally permitted.
- Illegal Activities: Prostitution, escort services, the sale of counterfeit goods, pyramid schemes, Ponzi schemes, and any other activities considered criminal under local and international laws.
- High-Risk Activities: Activities that may be considered unfair, deceptive, or abusive, such as high-frequency purchasing for third parties or concealing ownership identity.
- Personal Use: The use of TbtPay services for personal, non-commercial purposes, unless specifically authorized.
- Any other activities that:
- Are illegal;
- Contradict the Platform Agreement; or
- Are deemed high-risk by TbtPay at its sole discretion.
Restricted Activities:
Companies engaged in the following activities may be required to provide additional documentation to use TbtPay services:
- Cryptocurrencies: The purchase, sale, or mining of cryptocurrencies.
- Financial Services: Providing financial services such as banking, brokerage, or money transmission.
- Professional Services: Offering legal or consulting services.
Important: In addition to the above, local Turkish laws also play a role in determining permissible and prohibited activities. TbtPay reserves the right to change this policy at any time without prior notice.
