Card Agreement

This Authorized User Payment Card Addendum ("Payment Card Terms") is incorporated into and forms part of the Authorized User Agreement. Capitalized terms not otherwise defined herein shall have the meanings provided in the TbtPay User Terms.

The TbtPay Payment Card is a business charge card issued to the Accountholder under the TbtPay Agreement and is specifically designed for managing tourism-related expenses. These Payment Card Terms govern your use of the TbtPay Payment Card. As used in these Payment Card Terms, "we," "us," or "our" refers to TbtPay. Unless otherwise specified, "you" and "your" refer to the person or persons authorized by the Accountholder to receive and use a TbtPay Payment Card or otherwise utilize the Services.

1. Definitions

(a) "Card" and "TbtPay Payment Card": Refer to a business charge card issued by the Issuer, linked to a Card Account, and enabled for transactions over the Card Network associated with the Card. Cards may be either a physical card embossed with a 16-digit number or a virtual card represented by a 16-digit number. These cards are only intended for tourism-related purchases and cannot be used for ATM withdrawals.

(b) "Card Account": Refers to a sub-account of the TbtPay Account that is linked to a Card issued to you.

(c) "Card Limits": Refers to the maximum amounts available for Charges on any Card. Your Administrator will inform you of the Card Limits that apply to your Card.

(d) "Charge": Refers to the use of your Card to complete a Transaction.

(e) "TbtPay Account": Refers to the account under which the Accountholder may request the issuance of Cards and includes the records we maintain to (a) account for the value of funds available for Charges on Cards, (b) establish Card Accounts, (c) provide transaction histories (Charges, Transactions, payments), and (d) inform the Accountholder of fees and payments owed.

(f) "Transaction": Refers to a request initiated by you to make a payment with a Card for the purchase of goods or services. Please note that these cards cannot be used for cash withdrawals at ATMs.

2. Your Card and Card Account

Your Card is a business charge card with a specified validity period. You may use your Card up to a specified limit for valid tourism-related purchases. Your Card is issued by the Issuer and is linked to an individual Card Account, which in turn is linked to your Accountholder’s TbtPay Account. Your Charges are billed to that TbtPay Account. You are not directly liable to us for your Charges or other activities on your individual Card Account. Your Card must be activated before use, and your Administrator will provide activation instructions. If you did not receive activation instructions, please contact your Administrator. We or your Administrator may apply a Card Limit to your Card Account. Charges will reduce the Card Limit, and any Charges exceeding the Card Limit may be declined. Please note that the card cannot be used for cash withdrawals from ATMs, and the card fee is non-refundable. If your user account is blocked for any reason, such as fraud or risk of violation, the card fee cannot be refunded.

3. Account Opening

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT PROCEDURES FOR OPENING A NEW ACCOUNT: To comply with regulations aimed at preventing terrorism financing and money laundering in Turkey, we are required to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies you when opening a Card Account. This includes your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also request to see your identification documents.

4. Using Your TbtPay Payment Card

You may only use your Card for legitimate tourism-related purchases on behalf of the Accountholder and for valid and lawful purposes. Personal, family, or household use of the Card is prohibited. The Card remains the property of the Issuer and must be returned upon request. We may cancel, revoke, repossess, or restrict the use of your Card at any time. We may decline to authorize or reverse Charges or suspend your Card for any reason, including violation of these Payment Card Terms or suspected fraud. We may also decline to authorize Charges at merchants characterized by the Card Network or us as prohibited merchants. We are not responsible for losses resulting from declined or reversed Charges. While merchants generally accept all Card Network-branded Cards, we are not responsible and will not be liable if a merchant refuses to honor a Card or accept a Transaction.

5. Card Account Holds

When you use your Card to initiate a transaction at hotels, restaurants, gas stations, car rental companies, and certain other merchants where the final transaction amount is unknown at the time of authorization, a hold may be placed on your Card Account for an amount equal to or greater than the final transaction amount. We or your Administrator may also place a hold on available funds in your Card Account for certain other transactions. When a hold is placed on your Card Account, the amount of the hold will reduce the applicable Card Limits until the hold is released.

6. Card Security

You are responsible for securing your Cards, account numbers, and Card security features (including the CVV and PIN). We recommend using a strong password and avoiding sharing your Card information with others. If your Card is lost or stolen, immediately contact your Administrator to have the Card blocked.

7. Data Privacy

TbtPay will use your Personal Data only as required to provide the Services, fulfill our obligations to regulatory authorities in Turkey, and in accordance with the TbtPay Privacy Policy. The protection of Personal Data is of utmost importance to us. The TbtPay Privacy Policy explains how and for what purposes we collect, use, retain, disclose, and safeguard Data provided to us in connection with the Services. You agree to review the terms of these policies, which may be updated from time to time.
